Pre-Orders
Please be aware that while all pre-orders will be fulfilled, date of fulfillment is subject to stock on hand. Pre-orders are on a first come, first-served basis. CompUSA cannot therefore guarantee shipping dates.

Payment and Shipping Information
Paying by Credit Card
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Optima, Discover, the CompUSA Credit Card, and Diners Club. We do not add any credit card surcharges. Please see our Privacy and Security Statement for more information about your credit card safety. If your shipping address is different from your billing address, CompUSA requires that this address be listed on your credit card account as an alternate address for shipping purposes only. You can contact your credit card company by calling the 1-800 number on the back of your credit card. CompUSA requires the "ship to" address to match the "bill to" address or the alternate address of your credit card to protect our customers from credit card fraud.

Shipping (CompUSA.com)
Continental U.S. Shipments
If your package is lost or damaged, please send us an e-mail at [email protected] or contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-653-3831. At this time we are unable to ship to APO/FPO or P.O. Box addresses.
(Please note: Unfortunately, CompUSA does not cover shipments made using your shipper identification account.)

International Shipments
We will gladly ship internationally, unless shipments are restricted by law. To determine eligibility for international shipping, please e-mail us or call 800-278-4685 Ext. 4620 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday. We will promptly send an e-mail to you to both confirm your order and provide your shipping charges. Please remember that all customs clearing, duties and taxes are not included in the freight calculation and are the responsibility of the customer. Manufacturer's limited warranties for internationally shipped products may vary or be null and void. We are unable process international software downloads.
(NOTE: Shipments that are not retrieved from customs are not covered by our insurance.)

Shipping Details
We ship orders with FedEx. If you have an account, you can track your order online. Click here for more information on FedEx shipping.

Export
To comply with certain vendor agreements and government regulations, CompUSA reserves the right to refuse to export products from the United States at any time. If you are purchasing products for export, you are responsible for the necessary export documentation before shipment is made to a foreign country. Manufacturer's warranties for exported products may vary or be null and void.

Software Downloads
Software downloads are subject to the applicable End User License Agreement ("EULA") and our software download procedures. Upon verification of payment, you will receive an e-mail with download instructions.

Signature
For your protection, all 2nd day and Priority shipments require a signature at the delivery point. Ground deliveries may not require a signature for delivery.

Tax Exemption
If you are a tax-exempt customer in the state where the product will be shipped, please call us at 1-800-278-4685 ext. 4620 (Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Central Time) to pre-qualify. Our representatives will be happy to walk you through the process. For your convenience, your information will be kept on file for future purchases.

Online pricing and availability:
Prices, specifications and availability of products are subject to change without notice. Due to the unpredictable nature of the technology market, descriptions may not reflect current technical information. Web, e-mail offers and other advertisements are subject to correction.

Internet orders generate an automatic confirmation and response e-mail. These automatic confirmations and response e-mails are subject to correction prior to delivery due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or unavailability, typographical errors, or any other reason. Our internet pages are an invitation for you to make us an offer to buy the items described; our delivery constitutes our acceptance of your offer.

All orders placed over $2,000 (US) must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud avoidance program.

We will notify you of any corrections or changes and ask for your approval before we complete your order. We will not complete your order until we have your approval. We reserve the right to limit sales, including the right to prohibit sales to resellers, even after we have received and confirmed your order. In-Store HDTV Price Guarantee
We'll match any local competitor�s advertised price on every HDTV we sell, either at the time of purchase or within the following 60 days. Our price guarantee covers all new, factory-sealed HDTVs of the same brand and model that are in stock at the competitor. Our guarantee does not apply to Internet, bundled, limited-quantity, mail-in or free offers, open-box or clearance items, trade-in sales, or special financing.

Configure-to-Order (CTO) Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy
Your order begins to process immediately upon payment. Because of this, we are unable to accept any cancellations. Once you have purchased, you may not cancel. However, if you change your mind, you may return the merchandise as explained in our CTO Return Policy.

Damages, Defects and Exchanges
If a shipment arrives with obvious damage, please refuse the shipment and contact the CompUSA store where you purchased the merchandise. To report hidden shipment damages or a defective product, please contact the local CompUSA store immediately for repair or exchange.

CTO Return Policy
Our Configure-To-Order (*CTO*) Return Policy is different from our standard return policy and applies to CTO product only. Our standard return policy does not apply to CTO product. If you are not satisfied with your purchase and you return your HP CTO system and/or accessories within 21 days of receipt from the manufacturer, you may exchange the product or receive a refund as explained below.

In-store
You must have the store receipt. Items must be in new condition, in the original carton with the original packaging, warranties, manuals, instructions, accessories, and UPC code. Refunds are made by the same method used to purchase the item(s). Purchases made by cash or check over $250 will be refunded by a check from our corporate office within 10 business days. For defective returns, we will refund your freight charge. For all other returns, we will not refund your freight charge.

Online
Do not return HP Configure-to-Order products ordered through the web to a CompUSA location. Once your HP Configure-to-Order products have been processed, you may not cancel that order until you have received the order. HP Configure-to-Order products must be returned using the mail-in (RMA) Procedure listed below.

Mail-In (RMA) Procedure
For online purchases (excluding CompUSA PC) returned by mail: Contact our Support Center at 1-800-653-3831 to obtain your Return Authorization (RMA) number and details including mailing address and procedures. RMA numbers are valid for 10 days from date of issuance. We are unable to accept returns without an RMA number. To receive a refund or credit, your purchase must be returned with shipping and insurance pre-paid in "as new" condition, in original box and packaging, and with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Any variance from these conditions could result in delay or forfeiture of your refund. Shipping and insurance charges are not refunded. Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to the same card. Refunds or credits are issued after receipt and inspection of returned goods. Refunds or credits do not include original shipping and handling charges. Shipping fees will not be refunded if shipment is refused at time of delivery. All returns must be shipped prepaid. CompUSA will refund shipping charges for defective/damaged merchandise only. CompUSA.com will not accept the return or exchange of any item if the UPC code has been removed from the packaging. Products returned to CompUSA without proof of delivery may result in forfeiture of your refund.

General
Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice and are valid only on the day the order is placed. Delivery dates are estimates only and are based on manufacturer inventory and normal shipping conditions (shipping conditions and actual ship dates may vary). Postage and sales tax required for mail-in rebates. Mail-in rebate recipient must be a legal U.S. resident 18 years or older. Only one of each rebate per product, per household. Warranties and Rebates
Limited Warranties
CompUSA does not warrant other manufacturers' products sold online or in our stores. The products are backed by the limited warranties of the original manufacturer or publisher only. Consult your product documentation for specific limited warranty information.. Downloaded software is subject to the EULA and may not come with manuals or disks. We recommend you review the software publisher's policy about manuals and disks prior to your purchase of the software.

New Product Manufacturer's Warranties
All new products are sold with the manufacturer's limited warranty. The warranty period and service varies by manufacturer and product. The full text of any such warranty is available, free of charge, upon written request addressed to TAP Accounting, 18451 North Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75287. CompUSA also offers 2 and 3 years Technology Assurance Programs for an additional cost.

Rebate Information
To retrieve rebate forms for items purchased on this website, please print the rebate forms from www.compusa.com/products/rebate_center.asp. Most rebate forms will not be shipped with product unless included in or on the product's box. If the rebate form you are looking for is not available, please contact either the manufacturer or a CompUSA Store near you. "Date of purchase" for rebate validity is based on order date, not invoice date. You can find your order date on the receipt page - this link is sent in our email confirmation pages.

Manufacturer Rebates
Rebate and coupon offers provided by manufacturers are subject to the terms specified by the manufacturer. These terms include the timeframe of the offer, limitations on quantities, and combination with other offers. Proof of purchase and UPC codes from the original packaging are normally required for redemption of rebates by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's agent. For rebates on downloaded software, please refer to the instructions on the rebate form; not all rebates may be available for downloaded software.

Helpful Tips for Rebates
Don't miss out on your rebate savings! Hang on to that receipt. You'll need it � or a copy � to get your money back. Remove what you need from the original packaging before you toss it. UPC codes and other box information may be required for rebate processing. Don't be late. Rebates must be mailed before their due date. Protect your investment. Keep copies of all submitted materials for your personal records. Read your form. Most rebates are limited to one payment per product for each customer, receipt, household or address. CompUSA sponsored rebates may be filed electronically at eRebates.compusa.com. Rebates usually take 8-10 weeks to process. To request a refund, you must contact our E-Commerce Customer Service Center at [email protected] or 1-800-653-3831, M-F 8:00 AM -5:00 PM CT within 21 days of purchase. No refunds or exchanges are allowed after 21 days from purchase. CompUSA will only accept returns of downloaded software in compliance with the applicable EULA. A signed letter of destruction may be required from you prior to a refund being issued. Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will be posted to the original credit card used at the time of sale.

Clearance Products
All clearance products (including refurbished, new and open box items) purchased from this website cannot be returned.

(Products that contain personal information or media: computers, PDAs, cameras, camcorders, etc.) Please delete or remove any personal data or media (videotapes, memory cards) from your product before you return it. CompUSA is not responsible for any damages related to any loss, mishandling, or disclosure of personal data left on any returned/exchanged item.

General Return Guidelines (applies to all return policies)
Your original receipt or invoice is required.

You are responsible for cancelling your wireless cell phone plan if you return a cell phone. We are not responsible for contacting your wireless carriers regarding changes or cancellations of your service plan.

We do not accept returns of items missing the UPC codes.

Restocking fees do not apply to the return of a purchase made from a Hawaii address.

We do not charge a restocking fee for defective product returned in exchange for the exact same product, or for product originally purchased as Open Box.

Any product returned without promotional item(s) included with the original transaction (e.g., buy camera, get free memory card; buy printer, get free gift card; or buy TV, get DVD player for half off) will have the value of the promotional item deducted from the refund amount.

Miscellaneous

Clearance Products
CDs and manuals may not be included with desktops, but you may be able to order missing recovery disks from the manufacturer (additional fees may apply). All cameras, camcorders and PDAs DO include all manuals or CDs. We reserve the right to not sell to re-sellers.

We test each "open box" product by powering it up before we send it to you. Some new and refurbished products may come with a limited manufacturer's warranty. If a product does include a warranty, we'll tell you on the web site. Other than a "power up" test for the "open box" product, all Clearance items are sold "AS IS", unless we specifically tell you in writing a product comes with a limited manufacturer's warranty. CompUSA disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of MERCHANTABILITY and FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

E-Waste for California residents (What is E-Waste)
California residents will be subject to a small fee on all electronic products that have a screen.

Many CD-ROM drives read data at variable speeds. CD-ROM speeds noted on this web site or in other CompUSA advertising should be considered maximum speeds.

Monitor Statement.
Monitor displays are simulated. Monitors are not included with computer systems unless specified.

Modem Statement.
56K modems are capable of downloads at 56Kbps, but speeds in actual use may vary.
