If your covered product has the same component repaired or replaced three times during the term of the plan, your covered product will be replaced with a unit of like kind and features, not to exceed the original retail price of the product.**
Power Surge Protection up to $1,000
Damage or defects to your covered product caused by a power surge will be covered up to $1000.00 for the life of the Plan.
Transferable to a New Owner
If you transfer ownership of your product, the Plan may be transferred by paying the Administrator a $10.00 transfer fee.
One-Time Battery Replacement
This is a one-time replacement of original battery.
Technology Assurance Program International Service Plan
Purpose:
The International Service Plan is designed to give the customer complete coverage on their eligible purchases and was developed to replace the original manufacturer's warranty for those customers that will take their purchases outside the United States.
Coverage:
The International Service Plan commences upon the date of product purchase. The Plan will cover the authorized repair claims that would normally be covered by the manufacturer during the manufacturer's warranty period. For all covered repairs, product(s) must be carried in to a local authorized repair center as directed by the CompUSA Call Center. Where it is geographically feasible, on-site service may be arranged. If the product needs to be returned to the United Sates for repair, all shipping charges will be covered under the Service Plan. Any replacement of a covered product in its entirety shall fulfill the Obligor's obligations under the Service Plan.
If the Customer Needs Service:
If the product fails due to a hardware defect or if the customer is unable to verify if it is a hardware defect, simply call the CompUSA Call Center using the worldwide service number. **Component Replacement Guarantee - If any individual component within your covered desktop computer (CPU), monitor or printer must be repaired three (3) times during the term of your Plan, this Plan will replace your covered desktop computer (CPU), monitor or printer with one of equal or similar features, specifications, and functionality.
