What Is A+ Certification?

• A+ Certification is a testing program, sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) that certifies the competency of service technicians in the computer industry.
• This testing program is vendor neutral, product neutral and aimed at entry-level computer technicians.

• To become certified, a student must pass two test modules: the Core Hardware Exam and a Windows / DOS Operating System Exam.
• These two components must be passed within 90 days of each other in order to become certified.
