From the moment that I hooked this up I had nothing but trouble. The first two layers of techs that I talked to had no suggestions on how to help. They blamed my system and every thing else as the problem. They even blamed me as doing something to the hard drive to cause the problems. When I got to the third level of techs I was told to reformat the drive, delete the software and unplug the connections when I shutdown or restarted. Use the hard drive as storge of files and not backup my system to the hard drive.

I had the hard drive for 2 days. I was copying data to the drive and suddenly I recieved a write error and the drive disappeared from MyComputer. I had to power it off the HD and reboot the computer so the drive would reappear. This has happend twice so far in 2 days. I will monitor it for the rest of the week if it continues I will be contacking Tigerdirect to receive a replacement.
