The new Intel Pentium Dual Core is a budget dual-core chip, without sacrificing
speed and quality. Intel's newest addition to the Intel® Pentium® processor
family with dual-core processor technology that delivers great performance,
low power enhancements, and multitasking for everyday computing. It's built
on Intel’s Core microarchitecture (Conroe), the next generation 65 nanometer
process technology. It has a L2 Cache of 1MB and runs on a quad-pumped system
bus, providing better performance, especially for gaming purposes. At this price,
top gaming performance has never been so affordable!
Note: A CPU cooling fan is not included with OEM CPUs,
but may be added separately.

| I got this chip having no idea about it's history with overclockers. Then I realized i had a real prize on my hands. For this price you need to pick one of these up. Mine is OC'ed at 3.2GHz at almost stock voltage. I have heard incredible speeds as far up to 3.8 to 4.1 with a P35 and the right knowledge, however, I got mine with a 680i LT, and am still trying to figure out the best tuning for it. Highly reccomend! |

| For such a low priced processor this one is so fast. I went from a single core proc to this dual core and there's a HUGE difference in performance. I definately recommend this one for those on a budget. |

| AMAZING performance for the price if you OC it. I got this along with an abit ip35-e. Overclocked it to 2.8 ghz with no change in voltage. Get the performance of a 180 dollar chip with this cheap chip. perfect for a budget overclocker. |

| Great chip for the price. If you're considering getting an Athlon processor that's got a faster clock speed simply because it's cheaper than the Intel E4400,6600, and so on then GET THIS CHIP! Without changing the voltage on your motherboard, you can easily overclock it to 3GHz. At that speed, the small cache is a non-issue. Combine this with the EVGA e-7100/630i and you got yourself a smokin' little combo for 125 bucks. A budget system to hold you over til you got the dough for a quad-core with a 16mb cache ;) |

| This chip is a screamer and cheap! It has worked perfect in my Nvidia nForce 610i/7050 motherboard w/Patriot 5400/667 memory. I'm running ubuntu 7.10 with no problems (I had to run text install because ubuntu couldn't detect the embedded display). Otherwise, I haven't been able to throw anything at it yet to bog it down. Runs 35C - 39C with a budget fan.
My only complaint is the new Intel pips instead of pins. Not unique to this CPU, but I just don't like the pips. |
