If you've ever wondered if a all-in-one mobile solution ever existed, well this is it. Its does it all, wifi, gps, 3G, 5mpx camera and amazing 30fps video recordind at 640x480, 3D games, video calls, VoIP calls (truephone or fring), its open to 3rd party software and there are thousands of applications for it.
I work for a major communications dealer and owned just about every smartphone up to the Tytn II (kaiser) and i could honestly tell you this device beats any other hands down. Just google N95 and read the many reviews and you decide. And lets not forget it has a great battery life compared to all the windows mobile devices.

I have had the Treo 750 w/GPS. This one beats that in that it's antenna is internal, not an external bluetooth. There are two things which are still severals years behind. The voice command sucks. There are just a few limited commands - the confirming voice is Stephen Hawking (Microsoft Sam) - It just doesn't work that well. In the Treo, if I ask for a person only, and they have several numbers, it asks back which one I want, and then waits for confirmation. This one just gets the number that i have put the voice command with, and just dials it. I can't ask for ''contacts'' then ''search xyz'' then ''call xyz, mobile'' also I can't just ''dial 123, 456-7890''.
Everything else is great, w/WLAN internet, as well as other services -- great color -- good sized monitor ---

Best and funnest phone I've ever owned. There are so many apps you can download for this phone to customize it I spent two daays just doing that. Also TigerDirect has been really fair with me, less than a week after I got the phone the price dropped and they credited me the difference.

This phone does everything, and there are a lot of programs for it which is really fun (I actually got street fighter 2 to run on it - how cool is that?). Anyway, there are a couple downfalls: 1) the screen is so thin that it is not properly shielded, so there's a humming sound in the background whenever you hold it close to your ear, 2) the MP3 player has some faint noise in the background, 3) the GPS takes a while (5 minutes?) to lock in on your position, 4) for the health professionals out there - very little medical software available for the Symbian s60v3 O/S. Otherwise, excellent call quality - I love the phone, regardless of the aforementioned downfalls.
What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is a specification for the use of low-power radio communications to wirelessly link phones, computers and other network devices over short distances. The name "Bluetooth" is borrowed from Harald Bluetooth, who was a king in Denmark more than 1,000 years ago.
Bluetooth technology was designed primarily to support simple wireless networking of personal consumer devices and peripherals, including cell phones, PDAs, and wireless headsets. The wireless signals transmitted in Bluetooth reach
over short distances, typically up to 30 feet (10 meters). Bluetooth devices generally communicate at less than 1 Mbps.
Bluetooth networks feature a dynamic topology called a piconet or PAN. Piconets contain a minimum of two and a maximum of eight Bluetooth peer devices. Devices communicate using protocols that are part of the Bluetooth Specification.
Although the Bluetooth standard utilizes the same 2.4 Ghz range as 802.11b and 802.11g, Bluetooth technology is not a suitable Wi-Fi replacement. Compared to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth networking is much slower, a bit more limited in range, and
supports many fewer devices.
As is true for Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies today, concerns with Bluetooth include security and interoperability with other networking standards.
What Is GSM?
GSM phones require a small electronic chip, called a SIM card, to be inserted into a slot in the handset. This
international SIM card is the "heart" of your phone - it contains your cell phone number, your phone book, and all
of your registration information. Most companies with GSM service provide you access to over 320 GSM networks in over
140 countries.
What are Unlocked GSM Phones?
Unlocked GSM phones are either a) phones which are directly from the manufacturer which were never locked, or b) phones
from a carrier which have been modified to openly work on any network.
What are the different frequencies of GSM that I need?
Most of the world's GSM networks operate at 900MHz and 1800MHz. However, in order to use the networks in the USA and
Canada you will need a handset that is also capable of operating at the 1900MHz frequency. Most phones are now either
"dual" "tri" or "quad band" (includes 850MHz) to serve most of the world.
Please Note:
Most of our unlocked cellular phones are only designed to work on GSM networks
such as Cingular and T-Mobile (in the U.S.) and Fido and Rogers (in Canada).
These phones are NOT compatible with CDMA carriers such as Verizon and Sprint.
If your intended service provider is not among those major carriers, please
contact that provider to determine GSM compatibility.
PLEASE NOTE: All of our unlocked GSM phones come from around the globe. As such, features and accessories may vary. Some require US adapters. In some cases, language needs to be reset to English from the default language through manual setting on the phone.
