When launched later this year, the Intel® Core™2 Duo processor will
provide enhanced performance and energy-efficiency in mobile applications while
bringing for the first time the benefits of energy-efficient performance to
mainstream desktop computing. It will be Intel's highest performing desktop
processor ever and the new first choice of gamers and multimedia professionals
worldwide.
As with the Intel® Pentium® processor brand, use of the
number "2" signals the arrival of the next generation of technology
to the Intel® Core™ processor line. In order to be consistent with
our current Intel Core processor naming, we are continuing to use "Duo"

Dynamic execution is a combination of techniques (data flow analysis, speculative
execution, out of order execution, and super scalar) that Intel first implemented
in the P6 microarchitecture used in the Pentium® Pro processor, Pentium®
II processor and Pentium® III processors.
- Intel® Intelligent Power Capability
Intel® Intelligent Power Capability is a set of capabilities designed
to reduce power consumption and design requirements. This feature manages
the runtime power consumption of all the processor's execution cores. The
result is excellent energy optimization enabling the Intel Core microarchitecture
to deliver more energy-efficient performance for desktop PCs, mobile PCs and
servers.
- Intel® Advanced Smart Cache
The Intel® Advanced Smart Cache is a multi-core optimized cache that significantly
reduces latency to frequently used data, thus improving performance and efficiency
by increasing the probability that each execution core of a dual-core processor
can access data from a higher-performance, more efficient cache subsystem.
- Intel® Smart Memory Access
Intel® Smart Memory Access improves system performance by optimizing the

| This is a great CPU. Running 20% overclocked (3.2 GHz) with no problems and no heat issues with an Artic 7 cooler. It could go faster but why? |

| I have this in my first custom. Didn't overclock it...stock cooler and it works great. It used to take about 5 minutes to minimize BF2 with my AMD 3000+ X2 (boo AMD). This thing is amazing. Ranks up there not too far down from the Q6600. Glad I bought it.

| Got this processor about a month ago and wow it makes a huge difference...
Old: Amd 3800+ 3Dmark06 score = 8000
New:C2De6750 3Dmark06 score = 12000
yes it makes that big of a deal! Overclocks wonderfully! Currently at 3.4GH 1.4V Core and 37C idle and 55C Under full load with stock cooler...
Simply the best dual-core processor ever... only downside is that the quad-cores pwn this processor by alot (30-60%)and its only $100 more |

| This processor is great for gamers on a budget that is not concern w/overcolocking , it may not be as good as some other chips but it works great on my Abit IP35 Pro board. Read my review on the board for more. |
