I bought around Christmas, nice monitor. Be sure you understand (I didn't) that your video card or onboard video must support 1440x900 for you to get recommended picture. Drivers from my Shuttle SS40G 1.36 GHZ with onboard SIS video only show 1024x 768 (some width distortion), as does my old Vaio PCG-FXA63 1.4 GHZ with 8 MB ATI Rage Mobility AGP video (both running XP). My old Apple Blue&White at 350 Mhz runs it correctly, slowly and beautifully at 1440x 900 as designed, because previous owner put a ATI Radeon 7000 card w/32 MB in it later. Great for photos which is what I use it for, haven't tried for DVD's or TV yet - wish I could find an easy S-video or RCA to VGA D-sub converter (saw one for $80 on Tiger). I got on sale for $129 if I ever get the $50 rebate. Well worth it I think.

Out of five monitors purchased, only one had a minor problem, and it was one tiny burnt out pixel.

Received monitor promptly within 2 days from ordering but the box was clearly opened and taped shut. The box was missing the VGA cable and one of the pieces on the back of the monitor fell off.
Poor product, would not recommend to anyone. Classic, you get what you pay for.

Bought 2 for my Son's computer upgrade. At $139 after rebate you won't find a better deal and my Son's are VERY pleased to move up from CRT.

Explaining the Differences Among the Flat Screen TVs
It looks like Christopher Columbus was wrong. The world -, at least the
one shown on television screens and computer monitors - is flat! However,
with everything from Plasma, LCD and DLP lumped into the flat screen category,
it’s hard for most consumers to get a handle on just what constitutes
a flat screen TV. Our editors have provided this brief guide to help you
sort it all out.
