Preventive Maintenance
CompUSA will perform Preventive Maintenance in accordance with OEM specifications. Preventive maintenance includes: visual inspections, cleaning, diagnostic testing, filter changes, adjustments, alignment of heads, vacuuming of keyboards, lubrication, replacement of malfunctioning parts and retrofitting for engineering changes as deemed necessary by CompUSA.
Remedial Maintenance
Maintenance performed by CompUSA as a result of equipment failure is considered remedial maintenance. It is performed as required on an unscheduled basis.
