firePOD features two independently-operating power ports, one USB and one FireWire. The USB port works with the bundled GBA SP USB-charger, which is specifically designed to mimic the official AC adapter from Nintendo. While the FireWire port will work with any Apple iPOD, including the latest iPOD mini.
The GBA SP USB-charger can also be detached from the firePOD, and connected to any powered USB systems, such as PC, Mac, and even a Playstation2. Other USB chargers for cellular phones and PDA can also be attached to the firePOD.
